About Us

Born and raised in Great Neck, Long Island, Rabbi Lewis received his ordination from Ohr Hachaim, and his degree in Mathematics from Queens College, where he graduated Cum Laude. An avid talmudist, Rabbi Lewis continued his studies at BMG in Lakewood, and in 2005 co-founded the Rutgers Jewish Xperience, where he hopefully got all his rabbinical mistakes out of the way in the Coffee Shops of New Brunswick. In his spare time Rabbi Lewis loves playing chess and basketball, and though he's lost a step, he still enjoys teaching the young fellas an occasional  lesson on the court as well as off of it.

Raised in Los Angeles, Esther graduated from CSUN with a B.A. in psychology and then from Teachers College, Columbia University with a M.A. in Social organizational psychology.  After several years in a consulting firm in Princeton, she joined Rutgers Jewish Xperience, and then co-founded Mesorah NJ to fill the need of young professionals. 

Born and raised in Great Neck, Long Island, Ashley graduated Cum Laude from New York University with a B.A. in Economics, as well as with minors in Business Studies, and Child & Adolescent Psychopathology. After a few years of working, she learned in Israel at Neve Yerushalayim for a couple of years, solidifying her passion for Judaism. Since then, she's been loving working with Mesorah NJ in building a vibrant Jewish community.
